Update!!!

Soooo…

Yesterday Hunky was put in with Bumble! Exciting! Whee will keep you update on this.

Mummy is recovering now, she has been ill all wheek so that’s why whee haven’t posted, sorry!

Whee have some really nice pigtures of Bumble, just need to find them, then whee will post them!

Willow is living in mummy’s room which is furry nice as she gets more cuddles!

Bod hasn’t stopped squeaking today, whee are not sure why!

This wheekend whee went out on the grass for the first time this year! It was such nice weather whee just had to make the most of it. ^_^

Illness and recovery

Hello effuryone!
Mummy is ill with inflamed tonsils and stuff but recovering, and Toffee, as you might know, has a fungal infection, but it seems to be getting better! Mummy gave Peppi a haircut, it looks furry weird but oh well!

Reasons whee haven’t been active include;

Obviously nothing to do with us, whee are perfect!!!

~Squeak attack~

So yesterday mummy was just doing homework in her room when Bod started squeaking sooo loudly she jumped out of her skin!

She didn’t know why so she got him out for a cuddle and was fine, maybe he was just attention seeking?!

Sorry whee haven’t posted, life has been furry hectic at the moment.

Toffee’s condition hasn’t changed much, the cream has been applied effuryday to her nose and foot and hopefully it will get better.

Skye’s ears are also being treated with the same cream; the outside only of course. Skye’s eye was looking sore yesterday but it seems fine today, whee think maybe she just scratched it on something in her cage; it was a bit bloodshot but seems fine now, so that’s good.

Mummy has been so tired recently! Once whee are done writing this she is going to sleep, she can’t wait! She hasn’t done her homework but there are many excuses to be used yet 😉

~ Guinea Pig Show ~

Hello efurryone! At 10:30pm last night, mummy finally finished preparing us for the show! Whee had to get up really early, but it was worth it because whee got loads of cuddles.

Peppi, Bumble, Willow and Bod were entered; Toffee couldn’t be because she has a fungal infection, whee were going to take her to the vets but the very kind and clever people at Gorgeous Guineas were very helpful and when they saw a pigture of Toffee’s nose recommended what whee should use on it, and they said it (and the tiny lump on her foot) should clear up, the lump may get bigger but it should be okay. So that’s good! Whee all hope she makes a good recovery.

The show was really great, mummy, Sihaya and Maria went to Yo!Sushi for lunch which apparently is the most amazing restaurant ever. (mummy says: If you go, get the bean things and the miso soup, it’s amazing) 

Anyway, when they got back, Bumble was being judged in ‘Rough Coated Pets AA Chall’ which is all rough coated pets, all ages challenge. Bumble won! However, there was a mixup with the rosettes so she didn’t get the rosette but when they talked to a really nice man he said he couldn’t take the rosette back but he’ll send one to us! So whee are really grateful for that… Then Bumble was in ‘J/O Pet Chall’ (Juvenile Owned Pet Challenge) where she….. won! So mummy has another rosette in her room, this one is really pretty; it’s pink and blue! That was out of 36! Then it was the PET GRAND CHALLENGE!

They brought out this lovely Adult Owned adult pet, who came first…. but as Bumble is in the 5/8 months category, mummy was ecstatic when she came second!!! She didn’t get a rosette but that doesn’t matter!

2nd out of 91 guinea pigs is furry amazing right?

Peppi did well, she came high in her longhaired pets class but didn’t quite make it. She did really well though! ^_^ Willow came just behind Sihaya’s guinea pig Bramble who is beautiful, very plump and friendly. She came fourth in J/O Pets. 🙂

Bod did okay, not that great because he’s so little but he got a much needed bath ^_^ Mummy is furry sad because she has to sell him furry soon, which is sad but whee think it’s unfair to keep him living on his own.

In other news, Maria gave us some advice on how to introduce Skye to the others without them fighting. She suggested washing them and then sprinkling them and a clean cage with vanilla essence and then introduce them. This worked for her, so whee will test this soon and hope for the best!

Bumble is going to be bred with Hunka Munka very soon, which is super exciting!

Very exciting day, whee are all furry tired so whee are going to bed now!

New posting schedule?

As whee are seriously terrible at posting efurryday, whee have decided to post efurry other day instead as whee might actually be able to do that!

As whee promised a LONG time ago, here are the pigtures of Bod, Bobla and Splodge.

They took quite a while to edit as you can pawrobably imagine!

Today mummy was finding it very funny when Bod was popcorning in his cage and squeaking! Pasta the wussy cat went a watched him but efurry time he popcorned she would hide! Mummy thought it was furry funny!

Whee hope you are all having a nice week, whee know whee are despite the typical English rain. *sigh* the rain is starting to come in through the bottom of the garage so mummy has barricaded it with wood which seems to be working.

Early dinner

Mummy is going out to her friend’s house tonight, so whee are posting now! She fed us early so whee don’t get hungry or anything ^_^
Whee are all furry excited about the show! Mummy is very worried though as Toffee has something on her nose (whee will post a pigture asap) which means whee don’t think it will be okay to enter her.

When mummy preps us for the show whee think she is planning to film it!

That will be added to the care guide.  🙂

Mummy is feeling furry accident prone today; she keeps hurting herself bumping into things!
Anyway, whee have to go and finish eating now ^_^

Titles are furry annoying!

Whee just can’t think of titles!

Sorry it’s been a while, mummy has had sports stuff this week and she had a maths test today which she *may* have procrastinated revising for…………….

It’s a very rare disorder called ‘severe procrastination type B’

Anyway, whee are here now, and when looking at our stats, whee saw that whee have had views even when whee haven’t posted… which is good ^_^ What do you furries think of the new theme? Oui ou non? (Our french skills are just fabulous, dontcha think?!)

Whee have a show coming up on the 22nd, Bod is being entered but has to be sold at the next show in March 😦

He will go to a good home there though, so it will all be okay!! Mummy will be sad 😦

Mummy is going to update the care guide soon with things she has learnt so watch that space!

Long time, no squeak!

Mummy has been very lazy… She kept forgettting to post!

However, whee are back now! Mummy is going over to a friend’s house in a couple of hours, so before she goes she thought whee should post, as whee has been very bad at posting recently.

In other news, she is having a dilemma; her mum says that if she wants to keep Bod and breed Bumble, she has to get Bod neutered… And even if she does her mum still isn’t keen on her breeding Bumble!
It also means that she won’t be able to get any more guinea pigs for a long time, or keep any of Bumble’s babies… Any ideas on which option to choose?

She is thinking of taking Bod to the next show, seeing how he does, and then maybe selling him at the National Show in March when there will be more people… Whee’ll see, I guess.

She has finished editing more pigtures of the babies; in a minute she’ll go on the iPad and upload them, so whee’ll squeak to you later!

The White Screen of Death

Type that into google, and you will read about dropping iPhones. That is what our extremely stupid mummy managed to do. So, she has been using what she calls ‘the crappy samsung’ and moaning about it. Whee say it’s her fault, but she just doesn’t want to listen! But this has meant pretty much no posting for a while and she lost a lot of photos of us (which one is more devastating?).
However, she has been ‘borrowing’ her mum’s iPad mini to take photos and edit them (a new thing!) and she has just downloaded WordPress so should be able to start posting on there. She has tons of photos to upload which whee are sure she will do when she has the time. ^_^
Good but bad news; Bobla and Splodge went to their new home down the road today! Mummy couldn’t stop crying when she got home bepaws she was so sad! Luckily she will get to see them as often as she wants but she was still sad. Also she took loadsa photos before they left so she has a lot of editing to do!
Much to her annoyance she has once again left all of her homework to the last minute but gave us the laptop to sit on for a while. Much to her surprise when she comes back she will find a beautifully written blog post by us!
Whee made mummy make more cosies and she is thinking of starting a cosy business at the next show. Whee were thinking of names such as ‘Love you Cavy- Love your Cosies!’ or something- does anyfurry else have any ideas?
Great to be able to talk to you again, whee’ve really missed our blogosphere friends ^_^
